Consortium’s key difference has always been a combination of substantive sessions and learning backed by unmatched networking. 2017 in the West continued the tradition. Take a look at our photo gallery to get a sense of the connections made.
Here’s a look at some of the key challenges our team set out to achieve—how we did and, most importantly, how our 140+ attendees benefitted.
Engage more active foundations and endowments; connect decision makers with managers. Broaden the mix of active allocators.
Bring new voices to the table—on both the GP and LP side. Engage more consultants in the conversation. Find a way to foster connections and break down silos.
Keep GP to LP ratio close to 1:1. Foster direct, meaningful dialogue between GPs and LPs.
The content and discussions were so rich and informative, we’re going to use them as a springboard to launch a new RG + Associates blog. We’ll publish 2x/month with a focus on key issues (and answers!) for the growing Emerging Manager community.
We’ll launch soon, so stay tuned (we’ll send you a note and a link, plus post to Twitter and LinkedIn.)
